Accreditation

My first goal after joining the PPOC in Jan 2022, was to receive my accreditation in Botanical Photography and after only 2 submissions, I am over the moon excited to say that I am now an accredited photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada! I had to submit 10 images in a series of photographic specialties that would be judged by a panel of qualified judges. The images were judged on vision, impact, composition and technique.

This is not an achievement I take lightly. I believe it to be an honour to be recognized as an accredited photographer next to so many other amazing and talented image-makers that we have here in Canada. This pushes me to be the best artist I can be and to keep learning and to better my skills. What’s next? Well, the national competition is now open to me and with 79 classes of accreditation to choose from, why stop at just one?
