With a professional photographer as a father, photography has always been part of my life. However, it took many years for me to discover that I would follow in his footsteps. After receiving my diploma from the Digital Photography program at CCNB in Dieppe, New Brunswick, in 2007, I pursued a career in the automotive industry. Twelve years later, I found my way back to photography.

Since 2020, my father, Ben Gautreau, and I have been working together to continue our family’s studio. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing clients and fellow photographers whom I now consider friends! I have since earned two accreditations from the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) and received my Craftsman of Photographic Arts designation in 2025.

While I primarily photograph portraits, I also have a passion for automotive photography, landscapes, botanicals, and anything else that catches my eye. Although photography can be very technical, the camera is simply the tool I use to create art that inspires me. I’m always learning, evolving, and continuing to grow my body of work.

I approach every portrait session knowing that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera—but as soon as we start having fun, the magic happens!
